The fine people at Rovely were starting their new apparel venture called 'Elevated Oak' and they needed branding as well as some ideas for finished products: shirts, hats, tote bags, etc. We really liked the name so after playing around with some ideas we quickly came upon the arrow/tree icon as the main motif and then paired it with evocative type to create the right tone and weight for the brand. From there we designed multiple logotypes based around elements: earth, fire, water, wind, all using the original arrow but arranged in different patterns. The last step was adding a color palette which we again based on the base elements, choosing bold yet slightly muted colors that evoke nature and the outdoors with a human touch.
